Northampton Area School District is committed to creating an avenue for each student to participate in athletics by offering a quality athletic program. We strive to teach the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, competition, hard work, discipline as well as individual achievement. Success is not measured by the win-loss record but by the growth and development of each individual student within the community. Northampton Area High School & Middle School athletic teams compete against other public and private schools as members of the Eastern Pennsylvania Conference. The "Konkrete Kids" are geographically located in the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association's District XI.

Northampton Area High School Sports Sign Up Procedures & Important Seasonal Dates
Sports sign ups will take place during the dates offered below for all 7th-12th grade students enrolled in the Northampton Area School District. Please note that all dates are subject to change.
Fall Sports Information
2023-24 Fall Sports Arbiter Sports (formerly Family ID) Online Sign Up and Registration
Arbiter Sports (formerly FamilyID) online registration for fall sports will close on Thursday, August 10, 2023. Reminder, all sports sign ups will take place online on Arbiter Sports (formerly Family ID), the new sports signup home of the Northampton Konkrete Kids. Parents and students will be asked to complete all signup requirements electronically. Re-certifications will not be accepted for fall sports. All completed physicals must be performed after June 1st, 2023.
Free physicals will once again be provided by St. Luke's at Northampton Area High School and Coca-Cola Park throughout the summer. Time slots will be scheduled on a first come first serve basis. Please see our FamilyID page and/or our Sports Medicine page for details/reservation information.
Winter Sports Information
2023-24 Winter Sports FamilyID Online Sign Up and Registration
FamilyID online registration for winter sports will close on Tuesday, November 15, 2022. Reminder, all sports sign ups will take place online on Family ID, the new sports signup home of the Northampton Konkrete Kids. Parents and students will be asked to complete all signup requirements electronically. Re-certifications will be accepted for winter sports. All completed physicals must be performed after June 1st, 2022.

Please Note: Per the PIAA, 7th-12th grade students are only permitted to participate on PIAA sanctioned sports teams sponsored by the Northampton Area School District. All 6th grade students must continue to participate on local youth athletic associations until the 7th grade.
